The Location:

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

 

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Unit Helpers to assist Nurses and Certified Nurse Aides with tasks that do not involve personal care. Non-licensed and non-certified personnel can make a significant difference in the overall sense of comfort and security for Hale Makua residents.

  • Assists with bed making, answering call lights, refilling water, and beverage containers, transporting residents within the facility.
  • Deliver meal carts, aid residents who require 1:1 supervision, assist with digital visits for residents and their loved ones.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
  • Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
