Growler Shack Attendant - Kona

Kona Brewing Hawaii has an immediate opening for a Part Time Growler Shack Attendant in Kailua Kona.  This position reports to the General Manager.  

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing a variety of support for the Kona Pub's beer-to-go sales, incuding the responsibility for developing and conducting brewery tours and tastings.

Specific job duties include:

Ability to multi-task in a high energy environment

Ability to offer excellent customer service on a consistent basis

Sells beer-to-go to customers following company policies while also acting in compliance with all state and federal regulations

Support to-go orders for the pub - in person and over the phone

Interfaces with the public and provides accurate information relative to beer and brewing operations

Assists in maintaining tracking systems for beer sales equipment rentals and returns

Provides daily maintenance of draft and rental equipment

Maintains the cleanliness of the Growler Shack and outside area as necessary

Rotates all products during receiving, replenishment, and return activities in accordance with company policy.

Performs assignments in a safe manner

Attendance required per company policy

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor

Ability to work various hours and days, such as evenings, weekends and holidays

Must be able to communicate effectively

Have a fundamental knowledge of beer and the beer manufacturing process

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment

Excellent communication skills

Must have a friendly and outgoing demeanor

Dependable Adaptable / flexible

Knowledge of POS systems a plus

Fork lift experience a plus
