The Community Engagement and Development Coordinator will build awareness, create community partnerships, and coordinate donations and volunteers to support families affected by the August 2023 Maui wildfires. Based on Maui, the Coordinator will build relationships with local community members and support outreach and engagement strategies to build the organization’s capacity to empower families on their journey to recovery. This position will be supervised by the Maui Family Services Manager, and you will regularly work with the Director of Donor and Community Relations.
Family Promise of Hawaiʻi (FPH) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to transform the lives of families with children in Hawaiʻi facing homelessness by providing housing, resources, and support. Founded in 2005, FPH serves hundreds of families on Oʻahu and Maui through interim housing, rental assistance, case management, and wraparound services.
